Kentucky Turkey Hunting

There are a couple of great thins about the upcoming 2016 Kentucky turkey hunting season, the first thing that comes to mind is that there is are two of them!  The other fact is that I can offer you a 3 day / 3 night turkey hunt for $600 per hunter.  I can almost guarantee you a few birds, but I don’t anyone’s turkey hunting ability, so that’s an impossible offer to make.  I can tell you I’ve seen an albino turkey out at this farm and that would be a definite trophy for anyone, even above the long-bearded gobblers.

Spring turkey season in Kentucky  is usually around April 18th and goes through May 10th.  Youth-only turkey hunting is normally around the weekend of April 4th and April 5th.

Now when you get into shooting turkeys with a bow in the Fall, you can go near September 5th all the way through January 18th.  The typical shotgun Kentucky turkey season is on or around October 24th – October 30th.  I hate to give exact hunting dates because we don’t know in advance and this will be a random website inserted into the website for general information.  Specific hunting season will be wrote down on one of my main website pages.

If you want some turkey action, whether you like to call the turkey in or sit put and set up an ambush blind near one of my many food plots, you’re going to have a lot of fun.  The frustration behind deer hunting is that once you shoot your nice buck, you are suddenly done for the whitetail season.  It’s a bitter sweet sensation when you realize you can’t go out and hunt anymore!  Kentucky guided turkey hunts allow you to keep hunting even after you’ve already had a successful kill.
